This Initial crash course in flying introduces you to all the different types of
kites you can fly and use for kiteboarding then go on to show the set up, safety
features and basic flying and handling of specific kiteboarding kites. Including
Pre flight checks, the wind window, the power zone and safety systems.

This is your introduction to the fastest growing sport of the 21st century!
Kiteboarding is a fantastic sport both to practice and to learn. Your one day
course provides all the fundamentals of kite flying.
Landing and launching
Pre flight checks and set up
Site assessment and underpinning knowledge
Water safety and work
Body dragging
Relaunch and go
Deep water self rescues and pack down.
At the end of a one day course you will know all about kitesurfing and how to
do the basics safely. No doubt you will be eagerly be booking up you board start

2 Day course Price: R1850 broken into two days of 5 hours sessions (recommended course)
The two day course package will be a follow on from your one day.
The BKSA two day courses builds on the knowledge learnt on day one. It’s all about
getting on the board and moving. This is where it gets interesting! By the end of
day two you will know all about
Water start theory
Load and launch
Coming up and riding
Edgeing and riding upwind
From here you will be at a stage where you will have learnt all the nuts and bolts
of kitesurfing, it’s just a case of getting out there and practicing more, either on
more lessons, hiring kit or getting set up with your own.

3 Day course R2050 per Person
The three day course is designed for individuals looking to buy after there 2 day
lesson. we will help you set up your equipment that you have purchased and give
you a full break down on the safety, do’s and don’ts of your board and kites, a
recap of the lessons from the past two days plus getting up and going...

Demo, Course R200 per hour
